[1] Caravan Holidays in Skegness are among some of my favourite caravan holidays. I first started visiting skegness in my parents caravan when I was only 4years old, while I dont necessarily remember these caravan trips I do remember the later ones we took to skegness to see the beach and visit [2] Butlins. Skegness is a tourist oriented town that specialises in caravan holidays, as such there are a great number of caravan parks around for tourers, mobile homes, motorhomes and static caravans.

We would always use our touring caravan to holiday in skegness as this was all we had at our disposal, although cramped it did mean we could visit different caravan parks around skegness. Butlins is one of the best caravan holiday parks in skegness as it has a very large indoor and outdoor pool with flumes and child areas, a fun fair, lots of amusements and entertainments as well as being situated directly by the beach. As the sea in skegness is brown some could be put off by it but this is purely silt in the water and it is clean, proven by the blue flag clean beach award it has received for many years.

The beach at Skegness is one of my main reasons for booking caravan holidays in skegness as it allows me to go wind surfing, another one of my dads little influences on my life. Windsurfing is one of the main things my dad would do all weekend while we went away caravanning to different seaside resorts or lakeside caravan parks, it is always exhilirating darting across the choppy waters of the Skegness beach and I just love it.

There are so many caravan parks in Skegness to choose from such as [3] Silver Beach Caravan Park, in Ingoldmells, [4] Richmond Caravan Park in Skegness, both of these caravan parks are situated a short drive to the beach and allow tourers and static caravans onsite. I have stayed on many other caravan parks in Skegness but there are far too many to list here for now.
